Episode. 3 & 4
Time they say flies, it waits for no man, it peaches on the eagle's wings and flies with it, time is given to all men, and the same time taken from them.
Such has the time flew in the life of Chikelue, ohh was it not just yesterday he was found but now he is a full grown man, more handsome and well built than his peers, blessed with wisdom which is difficult to comprehend by mare mortals, the elders and the villagers marveled at the wisdom and words which proceeds out of his mouth.
"Igew !! I greet you, my fellow elders I greet you all" greeted mazi Okeke, standing to address the gathering of the elders and king. " As you all know the new yam festival is next four market days, and as tradition demand, the youth, warrior and able body men of this village will all go into the forest to hunt, and the one with the biggest kill, will be made our chief warrior". Takes his seat
"Mazi Okeke you have spoken well, I will Inform the town crier to go round the village and announce it and invite the youth of this village to the palace before the hunting commence" said the Igew. " So on this note, we have come to the end of today's meeting and I will leave every one of you to go and prepare for the festival"
" Igew !!! May you live long, may your reign be endless", chorused all the elders.
The igwe gets up from his throne and head into his chamber while the elders leaves in groups.
* THREE MARKET DAYS LATER*
"My people, we have all gathered here to wish this able body men a save journey as they embark on their quest to hunt the biggest animal they can get, so my warrior you have on till mid-day tomorrow to be back to the palace with your kill before we can commence the festival, so I wish you all luck as you embark on your quest go in peace my warriors". Said the Igew, addressing the villagers.
"Igew !!!!!!! Chorused the whole village.

Singing and dancing commenced as the king goes back into his throne room and the villagers escort the warrios to the boundary of the village and they all dispenses into their separate homes, leaving the warriors to face the dangers and obstacles that awaits them.
* * * *
Episode 4
" This is where we will split, every man to his chi, we would go and return in one fold", said okonta, one of the warriors. "We would assemble at the palace mid-day tomorrow, so let's pick which direction to go".
" I will go east, while the rest of you can decide where to go", said Chikelue, walking towards the direction he chose.
" Chike, do you know what you are saying,that direction leads to the evil forest, and no man come back alive ones in that forest", okenta said, trying to persuade chike from venturing into the unknown.
"There is always a first time for everything, and moreover my chi is with me, don't worry about me,we will meet in the palace tomorrow when the sun is half way through it's journey over the earth, fare well friends", chike replied.
"Be very careful, if we don't see you by mid-day tomorrow, we would mourn you", said uko, already feeling disturbed about chike's decision.
* 24 Hours later *
Singing and dancing, that was the order of the moment as the villagers were all gathered in the palace, awaiting the return of the warriors, the sun was close to the center of the earth, and the warriors will be coming in, any moment, the village are anticipating the return of the warrior to know who will be the winner amongst the six warrior that went on the quest.

"Heeeeeeeehh!!!!!!!" Shouted the villages on sighting Ikene one of the warriors entering the palace with a big antelope, he was welcomed by the village and given a chair to sit and rest while the music continues as the villagers continues waiting for the rest of the warriors.
"Heeeeeeehhhh!!!!" The villagers shouted again on sighting three of the warrios heading towards the palace with their kill on the shoulders, two of the warriors with an antelope and one with a bush pig, they were also given the reception the previous warrior was given, while the waiting of the other two warriors continue.
There was a more thunderous shout from the villagers when Okonta entered with a full grown Gazette on his shoulder, the villagers were still celebrating okonta's return when silence crept in and everybody were silent and astonished, all eyes on the chike as he stood at the entrance of the palace with his kill.
