CHAPTER TWO
I was so scared hearing that, who is trying to take father's body away from me. I woke up immediately as surprised, I spotted some men's barged into the room.
But I thought that I closed the door, how foolish I am when the door is only made of wood which will be easy for those hefty men's to open.
“Take the body away.” I quickly recognize my brother Linus's voice as he gives order to his men. I rushed to hold my father's body, I couldn't just allow them take him away from me.
Is this what father was trying to warn me, oh how I can save him now; they are so many of them than me? I don't even know when I have strength to punch one of them, who was trying to carry the body as he fell down.
“Hold him!” He commanded making his way towards me, he could see me struggling trying to be freed from those men as he burst out laughing in a mockery way which I was got more confused as he speaks.
“So, do you think that you can stop me?” He asked and continued laughing, I forced myself out of his men which he raised his hand as I froze immediately. I couldn't move my leg, my eyes were just staring at him.
“You can't stop me, Alex, so just give up!” he said.
“Give me back my father's body.” I managed to say, which I know that only he heard me perfectly. He laughed. I was unfrozen immediately after they walked away. I was angry at myself. Not only that, but I couldn't save my father's body. I fail him as I cry my tears out.
I rushed towards them, but I was unable to see him anymore, I checked the whole compound and no track of any vehicle. ‘Is brother using magic?’ I asked myself wondering, that is when I remembered that he froze me which I couldn't just move myself.
What had gotten to him, why will he suddenly change because of what he is now becoming; where is the love? I went back to the room, as I sat down on the wood bed, I stared at the place which I placed father.
“Revenge your death, father!” I say, holding the wrapper which I used to cover him and myself as I cry.
The next day I woke up, feeling weak, my eyes were paining me due to the crying. The D-Day is today and I don't know what to do.
I will be staying indoors all day, I will go out and cry on the grave after everything is over. My stomach groaned as I picked up the remaining yam, peeled, cooked and ate it with oil. I could hear different instruments playing outside and the wall of the house were vibrating.
I had to go outside, I used the backdoor, that is when I saw some villager's youth digging the grave. They were busy chanting among themselves. I greeted and walked past them, they didn't even look at me. I sighed and walked away to the stream.
Likewise, I would rather not participate in their burial, I have already done mine, so I'm not that worry. I sat down on the rock near the stream as I cried. I was so deep in thought. For what reason, will brother decide to carry father's body away.
If he was about putting it in the coffin, he will just allow me and not dragging it away from me.
I slept off again, and I have another dream about father, he was trying to be free from something which seems like pinning him down, he was like he was being trapped.
I rushed toward him to free him, but I couldn't, I tried again with all my might which I was becoming tired as I sat down staring at my father.
‘You can't save him from my gripes, he's mine now, and you are next!’ The voice said as I woke up.
I open my eyes and I saw brother Linus staring at me, he was sitting down next from where I was laying down.
“You missed your father's funeral.” He says and looked at me which I was just staring at him. You can't run away from me, Alex, anywhere you go you will see me. He said.
“You killed my father.” I said boldly to him, which he laughed out loud.
“Did you see me killing our father?” He asked and stare deep into my eyes, I glance a bit at him when I notice that his eyes were now changing which I close my eyes immediately. “Look at me!” He voiced changes like that of a beast as he demanded, which I was still closing my eyes.
“Take him.” He ordered which the men's wanted to grab me as I jumped inside the stream, I swim to the other side. I stood and faced him. He snarled at me before the twinkle of an eye, I felt a tap from my shoulder which I turned as I frozen immediately.

I was so shocked, brother Linus was standing right in my front, how is that possible? That I don't have the answer. He touched me again as I felt something drawn out of me.
The men grabbed me and thrown me inside the boots of the car, which I just lay down there as the car started moving to where I don't know.
